about the @12 podcast
the @12 podcast started in 2005 as an online radio show called “Indie-Pendent’s Nite” in Detroit. it premiered on one of the first online radio platforms, Emancipation Radio, with a focus on independent artists and projects.
in 2009 the host, Claude D built the site www.atmidnightpodcast.com and began hosting the show as a podcast called “@12 (pronounced ‘at midnight’)” named after a favorite Rufus & Chaka Khan song.
the @12 podcast returned in 2019 - its 10th anniversary year to continue its commitment to the independent artist with a focus on contemporary projects.
the @12 podcast maintains its claim as “the best new music you might not be hearing.”
all artists, songs and projects are announced via the podcast and links are provided to the artists' page on the web.
